What does TVL mean?
Total value locked is the value of assets deposited in a protocol's smart contracts. Bathyx follows DefiLlama's default view, which leaves out borrowed amounts and staked governance tokens.
Why do protocols add up to more than the DeFi total?
The DeFi total and chain totals leave out bridges, liquid staking and deposits counted in more than one protocol, so the same assets aren't added twice. Protocol pages and the category breakdown show each protocol's own TVL, so their sum is larger.
Why do figures differ from other websites?
Sites count TVL in different ways and refresh at different times. Bathyx uses DefiLlama data, which is refreshed when you open or pull down a screen and can lag the source by several minutes or more.
How are the percent changes calculated?
They compare the latest value with the value 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days earlier. Pick the period in Settings > Change Period. Chain changes in the Chains list are estimated from the protocols on each chain, while chain pages use the chain's own history.
Why is there no price chart for some tokens?
Candles appear when Coinbase or Kraken lists the token against USD and its latest price is within 5% of DefiLlama's reference price. Otherwise the chart is hidden so a ticker that belongs to a different token isn't shown.
How do I pin something?
Open a chain, protocol or stablecoin and tap the pin at the top right. It then appears in the Pinned tab. Swipe left on a row to unpin it, or tap Edit to reorder.
Some small protocols are missing.
Entries under $1M are hidden from lists by default. Turn off Settings > Hide Entries Under $1M to show them. Search in the Protocols tab finds smaller protocols too.
Can I trade or connect a wallet?
No. Bathyx is an information app. It doesn't offer trading, wallets, custody, payments or any other financial service.
The app says it couldn't load data.
Check your connection and tap Try Again or pull down to refresh. If a data service is briefly unavailable, it usually works again after a short wait.
